CUSTOMER SERVICES CO-ORDINATOR

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for delivering a high standard of customer service by accurately processing all customer orders, maintaining stock for stock-holding clients, and ensuring clear, timely communication of any changes to relevant internal teams and customers. The role contributes directly to smooth workflow within the business by supporting order accuracy, stock management, and efficient coordination between Sales, Production, and Logistics.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Timeous processing of all orders received.
- Timeous and professional response to customer queries.
- Delivery Schedule correlated and distributed to customers twice daily.
- Handling of reinstatements through the Re-make process.
- Ensuring Trials and First-off procedures are followed.
- Escalation of any Red Tickets to the CSC Lead.
- Raising and managing CRM’s.
- Ensuring continuous stock management for stock-holding customers.
- Purchase Order management.
- E-mailing customers weekly with Stock Balance Reports.
- Maintaining mailboxes in line with business requirements.
- Ensuring business unit goals and targets are met.
- Management of redundant and future-redundant stock.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Matric with Pure Mathematics compulsory.
- A tertiary qualification in Marketing or similar will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of processes and procedures within in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 2 to 5 years’ experience customer services within the manufacturing industry.
- Sales negotiation experience will be advantageous.
