PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Junior Engineer will roll out maintenance standards & machine improvements (Yokoten) in the plant.

Standards & improvements developed by the Group Reliability Engineer, EIT’s & NBS team in WC & in other plants in the group, will be handed over to the person in this role, for roll-out.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•     Review & improve maintenance standards on Corrugator and Converting equipment to ensure operational efficiency, together with the team of ATM Operators
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, identify root causes and implement solutions
• Identify opportunities for optimization and improvement in autonomous
• maintenance and procedures
• Roll out maintenance standards & machine improvements (Yokoten) in the plant.
• Collaborate with Machine Specialists, Maintenance Planner and
• Maintenance Manager to achieve 100% schedule compliance, working towards common goals and maintain high standard

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Computer literate
• Fault finding skills
• Problem solving exposure

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

•    Matric
•   B-Tech or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
•   Minimum experience of 3 years in a Manufacturing Environment or similar
