Junior Corrugator Specialist

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Junior Specialist will perform mechanical/ Electrical work related to preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on all plant equipment.  The Fitter plays a vital role in the task of ensuring maximum machine availability to production. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  •     Responsible for maintenance, breakdowns, work orders (job cards) and other requests on the Corrugators
  •     Reduction of Downtime & Improvement of Corrugator performance (long term) will also form part   of the Corrugator Fitter’s responsibilities

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Computer literate
  • Knowledge on preventative maintenance
  • Fault finding skills
  • Problem solving exposure

   QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  •       Matric
  •       Trade Tested (Mechanical or Electrical)
  •       Minimum experience of 3 years
  •       Forklift licence advantageous
  •       Maintenance Planning exposure
  •       Experience of Corrugating equipment (operation & maintenance)
